A beta release of the client application for Microsoft Windows is now available for download.

The client application enables you to access your online storage space as an additional drive in My Computer, enabling you to access files directly from Windows applications.

It should be noted that the software is a beta release, meaning it is the first version of the software to be released to the public and thus may include bugs and other issues.

Releasing the software allows it to be tested more widely and for us to assess real-world impact of its use on our storage platform. You should be aware therefore that access to the storage space via the client may be suspended without warning if necessary to safeguard the stability of the storage platform and that the basis on which we offer access to the storage space via the client may be changed in the future.

The beta tag has been removed for some days. At the same time, they officially claimed that free accounts are only allowed to try the client for 14 days. By now, however, my free account seems not to be affected by this restriction.

The humyo Windows client ceased to work for my free account today.
